I received an email from goggle in the weekend saying I was selected for the Google Summer of Code to work with the FreeBSD Project on integrating the BSD Installer to FreeBSD.
I have added a page to the FreeBSD test wiki on my project. It is currently the proposal I sent in but will soon include more detail.

I'm just curious, how come you aren't using the new lua backend of BSD Installer?
Because:
1. I don't wan't to have to bring lua into the base system.
2. The backend has to be modified to work in a FreeBSD frendly way and I don't know enough about lua to do that.
3. It dosn't stop using the lua backend at a later date as it's a 1 line change to switch backends.
